FAQ 17: Installer can't find MindManager

Question:
The TPAssist installer instructs me to install MindManager, eventhough I have already installed MindManager.

Answer:
TPAssist requires the latest MindManager update and also the installer may not find MindManager if it is installed somewhere other than C:\Program Files.

Details:

Check your MindManager update, via the Tools menu/Ribbon. (click here to see the latest Mindjet update information).

Unfortunately, the TPAssist installer sacrifices functionality for speed and assumes "MindManager.EXE" is located in C:\Program Files. If you have installed MindManager to another location, like the D: drive, you need to fool the TPAssist installer, by copying MindManager.EXE to C:\Program Files folder. You can delete this file after installing TPAssist.
